Our restaurant was started by a group of Vietnamese people living far from home. We all share a deep love for Vietnamese food, culture and family traditions.

Our goal is simple. We want to bring the real taste of Vietnam to Helsinki and create a place where people can enjoy good food in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

For us, Vietnamese food is not only about taste. It is connected to family, childhood memories and meals shared with loved ones. A warm bowl of pho, a crispy bánh mì or a traditional home cooked meal can bring comfort and make you feel at home.

After many years of working, learning and dreaming, we decided to open Gạo Kitchen & Bar. We want to share the flavours of Vietnam through authentic recipes, fresh ingredients and food made with care.
